Just be aware that if you intend to harass someone, the phone company can keep track of the dialing number. If the recipient feels harassed they can dial a code that puts an immediate trace on the call. If this happens a few times, the phone company turns the records over to the police.

If you're in the United States and using a rotary phone, dial 1167 and then the number. If you're using a touch tone or cell phone, it's *67.

Each country has it's own set of codes for this.

dial *67, wait for the dial tone, then dial the number. some land lines won't accept private incoming calls. if that is the case, you will have to dial *82 to unblock your number (if it is blocked).

*67 then their number...or you if you're doing this on a cell phone go to your phone settings and select not to show your caller id when you're calling someone....both work
