Hey Lindsay C,

I need more information. If C is for CROCKETT, it is highly possible. Check through some of the web sites provided.

To prove it, you would need to trace back through the Surname of CROCKETT, only one branch on your family tree. So, get your DAD's Birth Certificate, Then your Grandfather Crockett, and his father as far back as you can get. Also, Death, OBITS, etc.

That knowledge may help you to tie into someone already researching Crockett's in America. So, communicate with these people (in the web sites). See if there is a DNA study for CROCKETT. See the Cumberland Gap DNA study.
