What is the deal with the Detroit Public School employees?

I mean they are always picketing in Detroit disturbing everyone else's day. If you are that upset with the way you are being treated there, please do us all a favor and get a job in a different school district!!

There are no jobs in a different school district. Welcome to Metro Detroit. I think the last time they picketed, they had good reason. They cut off a day of pay for each teacher, saying that would drastically help with the negative budget, and then they gave the administrators a raise. I would be angry, too.
