I don't really know if anybody can give a concrete answer either way but I will not stand very close to a Spinal Tap drummer, just in case.

i dont know i have watched many things on it, and looked at books and as much as i would like to think that it isnt possiable it seems to be maybe it is..i think whatever that is going on they should stop it because thats just horriable..

For you one of the things i watched once said that a person with Osteoporosis there bones didnt make it as well as someone who didnt have it, they have said it is combined with smoking and possiably drinking which i have no idea..it makes since but i dont know..and it said that when they was wearing clothes that it helped the fire continue..

There was once a woman who claimed she survived the combust but they did a study on her and found out that wasnt what was wrong..

Ok that about says what i know and have heard..i hope it helps

I have always wondred about that too & I think it really is possible. I have seen a lot of programs about it & they can't explain it.

the wick effect (see url below) seems real enough, or at least it works on dead pigs!, but whether it can explain *all* instances of apparent SHC --- who knows!
keep a fire extinguisher under your bed is my advice!

I've often thought so. Of course, I don't know since I've never seen it happen to anyone that I know.

I doubt it. Nothing's actually spontaneous. I would think there would be contibuting factors that are unseen.
