I know one is male and the other is female, but what does that really mean?? if I am talking to a girl I say "ma place" and to a guy I say Mon Endroit?? Please help!!

'Endroit' is space or environment or surroundings, as is 'place' but 'place' can also mean specifically a room.
Technically, it doesn't matter whether you use the masculine or feminine term when talking to someone of a particular sex but it may seem more manly to talk about 'endroit' to guys and girls may feel that 'place' has a more girly feel to it.
'Chez moi' implies something to do with home, where you live and is often perhaps a little less specific than 'mon endroit' or 'ma place' - more like the house you live in. There are times when you would say 'mon endroit' (or 'ma place') and times when you would say 'chez moi'.

Ok, apart from the French girl who teaches French as a second language, pretty much everybody is wrong!
"endroit" is indeed a "male" noun and "place" is a "female" noun.
Whether you talk to a man or a woman doesn't make a difference. You use the same words (the gender of the nouns is completely arbitrary, so it wouldn't make any sense to use male nouns with men and female nouns with women).
Whoever said "mon espace" was right. It doesn't really sound cool, though. Maybe you can say "chezmoi.fr", but it's not really cool either. Depending on who the website would be for, you could say "chezouam.fr" ("ouam" = "moi" but pronounced the other way round, which is a common thing among young people). But I'm not sure everybody would relate to that. It's more a Parisian slang from the "ghettos" which has spread. Apparently, people who live in Marseilles and the South West don't really use it. Sorry, can't think of anything better.
We don't say "ma place" to mean "my place" (as in: "Let's go to my place"; we would say "Allons chez moi").
As for "Mon endroit"... We wouldn't say that. Except if it were followed by some adjective. If you want to use it to mean "my home", you'll need to say: "L'endroit où j'habite" (the place I live in)

Endroit is masculin, so it is correct to use it with a masculine pronoun. Mon endroit literally means My area! But in French it means the area you live at, or dominat.
Ma Place is Faminin and means My place same usage as english

mon endroit is a physical place.
ma place is more of a moral issue,like saying"it's not my place to say that".

If your a guy, I wouldn't say ma place cause you are calling yourself a girl. Mon endoit is for a man to say. but myspace.com would be converted to monespace.com

If you want to translate "myspace", it would be neither. It's more proper to say "mon espace".
The female and male has nothing to do with who you are talking to. It's just grammar stuff, as in German, Spanish, etc.

"Chez moi" is the best (coolest) way to say my place. The other two are awkward. I taught French for 12 years, trust me on this one.
