meet my soulmate, get rich, fall in love, have some kids, go on vacations, just be happy to be with the one i truly love.

This question is in the same category as the old "if you could know the exact moment of your death, would you want to know?"
Personally, I wouldn't want to control my own destiny. Why would you want to get rid of any and all excitement in your life? It would be like seeing the same movie for the 5,000 time. You already know what lines are going to be said and when, you know when the killer is going to jump out of the closet, so where is the surprise, the thrill?
Also, if you could control your own destiny, imagine the great things you wouldn't allow to happen to you? A few years ago I was in an industrial accident and nearly lost my foot. That was a horrible ordeal to go through, and was a very dark time for me. However, as a direct result of that accident I met the woman of my life, who I am now happily married to. If I was able to control my destiny, the accident at work would never have happened, and I would never have met my wife. So you never know what positive things adversity will bring you.
I guess in the end, I'm just too big a fan of the surprises that life throws my way.

Actually darling your life's in your hands.Someone said(and I bet u know who)"we are the choices we make".I am just 17 and i know i have a life to lead and I will be responsible for everything but a few.live your life the way you want to live it and when the are some difficulties try to deal with them the way u want to get to grips with them.!U sent this question coz u chose to.
