I just got it cut a couple days ago and now it's kind of laying flat. My hairdresser cut long layers and my bangs at an angle.

You need a large round brush, with metal in the center, when you blow dry, be sure you are using a good mousse... if possible go to the stylist and ask her what she used.... I like Big Sexy Hair... you can get it at Sally's.
then, blow dry your hair until its about 80% dry... then part your hair into 2 sections, at ear level, pin up the top. then use the metal round brush to finish drying the hair to flip up. wrap the hair around the brush, hit it with the hot air.... then with the brush still in your hair, let it cool, this will help set the curl. do it section by section.

Tips...
Blow dry til 80% dry with your hair upside down to give volume.
you do not need to use the round brush when your hair is still really wet, it doesn't do any better.

Warning....
Be carefull to not wrap the hair to much around the brush, because it will get stuck!

good luck.... if you have any ???'s feel free to message me. pinkgirlie7779@yahoo.com

I got the same haircut and I walked out of there looking and feeling like a million bucks. Now it is just laying flat. She took so much time with the blow dryer and pulling it with a big round bursh and I do not have time for that. I guess I should have gotten a different cut. I'm not good with hair. Maybe you could call her or get a haircut magazine and find the cut in there and they might have directions. Good Luck.

Maybe try a big curling iron and curl it up at the ends of each layer that might work. But if you have naturally limp hair you may want to get some wax and blow it dry with a big round brush up in the direction you want it to flip, then take some wax and run it through the ends of the hair so it flips and spray with hair spray.

Try blow drying it upside down and use a round brush. Make sure you are using the same products she used if she used any.
