There are so many copycats out there. But GF grill is still good.

I tried to resist buying one because they seemed kind of "cheesy" and dumb - I finally gave in and got one so my kids could make their own hot sandwiches without having to turn on the gas stove. We really love it! The only thing I would do differently is buy a bigger one. The one I have now will only do one sandwich or one burger pattie at a time.
One of the things I like best about it is being able to grill a frozen chicken breast (boneless) without thawing it first. Works like a charm, and the chicken gets done all the way through without getting tough on the outside.

It's okay but if you really want excellent results, you need to get one of the larger, more expensive ones. I have the small that can hold 1-2 pieces of meat. It does okay but it doesn't have a temperature setting to control the heat that the meat receives which means that I have to turn and turn and turn to avoid burning the meat. The larger ones do have temperature settings and other features. Also, you have to be careful not to dry the meat out. Plus, clean up can be bothersome. However, I still use mine from time to time and am usually pleased with what I cook.

its ok,i had a smaller version i would use to grill chicken and fish.my bf said it tasted dry cause it takes out all the fat but there are other spices you can add to add flavor,i eat alot healthy so iam used to it.plus, the fresh fish grills up very nice on the grill and is very tasty.also grilled cheese is yummy and fajitas.trust me if you are trying to go low fat or low calorie its a good thing to buy and they have different sizes with different prices.

I don't like it because when u cook meat it comes out too dry. Yeah it's good that you "Knocking out the fat, " but you just end up adding more fatty products to give the meat some "juice." Plus it is hard to clean and the sponges that come separately are pricey.

If you want one, make sure to get one with removable grill plates. This makes cleanup very easy. I love mine because it's convenient for cooking frozen chicken breasts. And fish, too. Also, I make grilled cheese sandwiches on mine.

We used ours a lot and I never had a problem with it. It is a little messy true, but wouldn't you rather clean out all that disgusting fat from the little tray than know that you are EATING it?? They have one out that when you buy it, some of the proceeds go to breast cancer research. That's the one I'd buy if we needed to replace ours.

I think it is only popular because it lets fat drip away during grilling. Other that that, it is just a regular electric grill.

I am not impressed with it, hard to clean, and there are others pans out htere that lets the grease drip away from the food that are easier to clean
