I get lots of serious answers that are helpful. Sometimes people can help better than doctors... give you more insight...

Answers are not cut and dry. More opinions to figure out course of action.

it's all in how you ask the question.....

the sec have regulations that say (loosly) "if you every tell of the status of a future merger, then you must keep the investors informed"

so, companies never tell of a future merger!


questions like are you planning to buy this 'other company' - always get "no comment" regardless of what is going on...(which is totally useless information and a totally useless question)
HOWEVER
questions like "is your computer payroll software update complete so as to be compatible with 'other companies' time and attendance?" MIGHT get a yes or no answer!

So my opinion is...
never underestimate the limits of government thinking... old laws stay on the books...
and whoever caused the problem probably knows the solution...
and whoever casued the problem wants you to have it...
Your job it to rise above their limited thinking!
and I like movies! do you?
