How to Become a Freemason
One of the unique features of Freemasonry is that no man is ever invited to become a member. Freemasons are prohibited from the solicitation of new members. For that reason, it is sometimes difficult for an interested person to discover how to approach the fraternity for membership.
It is easy however to find out. Just contact a Freemason and ask him about Freemasonry. You probably know several Freemasons. If you know where the Masonic Hall or Centre is in your community stop by, note the address and make inquiry. If that doesn't work look in your phone directory for Fraternal Organizations, Masonic Hall, etc. The internet can be of great assistance.
Freemasonry offers much to its members - the opportunity to grow, the chance to make a difference, to build a better world for ourselves and our children. It offers the chance to be with and work with men who have the same values and ideals.
Freemasonry is always ready to welcome good men into the fraternity

go to a masonic lodge and there is one almost everywhere, say you wanna be one , but you have to answer why you want to become one , and it's very hard to answer , coz you don't know what they are up to , plus you have to be a man and a believer in one god " the great architect" and be at least 21 . but trust me they are not about bringing peace as they say. and when you get to the third rank something is done to you to make you stay a Freemason , something so bad you won't tell any of the secrets so that this thing won't happen to you again , good luck , GWB is a Freemason by the way and many people you know

i'm a Freemason. you ought to contact your interior sight motel or Grand motel and as to affix. they'll then guidance guide you through something else of the approach. honestly you want to be 21 (18 sometimes), have a conception in a preferrred being and characteristic a sound moral personality. to another responses: * we do not invite human beings to affix, you ought to ask. * there hasn't ever been a connection between the illuminati and the freemasons * we are no longer a secret company * depending on the criteria you will see that we are no longer evil * most of the marvelous minds, artists, leaders, and so on. were freemasons; in case you, as Billy B shows, are gullible, grasping and unconscientious, then you would not make a sturdy freemason and may want to in all probability be denied, he's inaccurate on all counts.

Freemasons, are a secret society that is hard to be found in public, thus it sounds kinda hard to join something that it seems as if they dont exist ...
As a previous study i have made ... joining them have alot of stages, but most of all it starts with age, got to be 21 ... and you cant join it by your self, u need someone from the inside to lead you, and that person becomes your teacher untill a period of time.
This Society, is illigal in many countries and in others is not legal and not illigal but its prefarable to stay away from them ... many ideas were mentioned about them .. but yet its hard to understand it well untill you are able to read there books (which are in general very hard to be found).
Espacially the book of their laws ... but if you can find it that means you will have a good idea of how to join them, but i suggest you found some person that will lead you to their side.
If you want to search on the net for the book ... try some words like :
Freemasons books.
Freemasons Laws.
I forgot the name of the book that i used to had, which makes you understand everything about them .... but i guess you can find it while searching the net !
One advice
(even if it doesnt matter to you)
Try not to join them ! Talking to you upon an experiance in life !

Hi, I am a Master Mason of an esoteric Order called American Co-Masonry. We are considered a bit different in that we admit women as well as men to all rites, lights and privileges. However, some of the basics are the same for all Freemasonry.
Wow! I am absolutely floored by the misinformation people post just to get 2 points. Come on, folks! If you don't know, don't answer!
No Freemasonic Lodge will solicit people to join. We do want people who are over 21 years old, believe in a Supreme Being, are tolerant of folks of other religions, wish to better themselves and the world. You have to ask to join.
We are not a religion. We are a system of morality. We teach by symbols - those of the old stone masons. We apply lessons learned to our own lives and conduct. BTW, Satanists would not be admitted to any Lodge I know of.
American Co-Masonry is a slower alchemy than traditional Freemasonry but we think it is worth it. We are more directed to the esoteric meanings of the ritual than simple fellowship and conviviality. For instance, I drive about 800 miles a month to attend the two Lodges I belong to. I leave at 5:30AM, get to Lodge for setup and rehersal, do the Lodge, maybe grab a bite, and then drive home, hopefully by 8PM.
We have folks of all walks of life in our Lodges: from poodle-groomers to lawyers, astrologers to nuclear physics teachers, massage therapists to realtors.
If you are interested in our Order, please feel free to write to me or to click on the link below.
Other than that, the masculine Order (those strictly male Lodges) are pretty much everywhere. The phone book should have contacts listed. They are usually fine folks and do great charity work, as well.

Ok; a lot of people are really dumb about this. Here's how it really works. To become a Mason, you must believe in a higher power (i.e. God.) You need to contact a member of your local Masonic Lodge and express your interest in joining the organization. He will give you an application for membership to complete. You will need to find a Mason to be your sponsor and vouch for you on your application; just ask a Mason who is a friend or acquaintance of your family. After you return the completed application, the Masons will vote on the issue of allowing you into the organization. You will receive a letter informing you of their decision either for or against you. If they decide for you, then you will be invited to a special meeting and initiated into the organization. That's all there is to it.
People should be ashamed of the lies and hearsay they are posting here about things they don't know anything about. Masons and Stars are first and foremost Christian service organizations. My grandmother and grandfather were Stars for their entire lives, my grandfather and my uncle as well as many family friends are Masons, and the fact that these organizations have certain rites and rituals that aren't known to non-members don't make them "dangerous" or "frightening;" it just means there is a certain level of commitment involved in being a member.

you will not be invited to join a masonic lodge, you must find a mason and ask for a petition to join.
If there is a lodge (usually a lodge has an emblem of a square and compass above the front door) of in your city, go in and ask. Good luck!

have you looked up anything on them? that group is next to satanic. Their teaches are very skewered. And the last 3 people i talked to who had family in it, one of them her brother (who was freemason) eventually left and went into a stanic cult. the other, her dad (who was a freemason) was extremely strict and wouldnt let her learn most anything so shes got a few disorders now. and the other one is along the lines of psycho too. better watch out what ur jumping in with.

You have to go to one of the lodges. Look for them. It helps if you know a mason. You will NOT be asked to join the real masons. You go to them. If you are approached it is likely not the real masons. This is likely a criminal organization using it as a front. They look for people to take the fall for them so they ask. There is allot of stuff like this. BE CAREFUL. Just look around for it. By the way, why do you want to join? Do you know what they do? If you just want to get in on what you see in the movies don't bother. Hollywood has no clue.
