I like the rolled kind myself but I know some that will only eat the gooey drop kind.....What's your preference?

i love my mom's chicken and dumplings and she drops them. they come out as different size chunks, it's wonderful to have the different textures hitting my tongue. and if they are cooked just right they aren't gooey. i do know one thing for sure i know people who use biscuit mix or even biscuit dough, and rarely tortillas...i don't like those. gotta be made with flour/milk/eggs/and of course lots of love!

Dropped, definitely, with green onion, cheddar and garlic in the dough.

By the by, if they're done correctly, the consistency inside is like a biscuit, rather than gooey.
