Do you live in the USA (or did you in the 1980s)? That kind of stuff was and is popular in England. Stateside, I've never seen a burgerpie in a restaurant but have made them. Why would you want to give this high-fat/card/calorie stuff to your kids. There are other healthier ways! There is a recepie in the Betty Crocker cookbook: www.bettycrocker.com

We don't call them burger pies, we call them meat pies. It looks like it was made in Australia...in Canada we don't put tomato sauce on the pie, we just have the hamburger, onions, spices baked inside a pastry shell. My mom still makes them around Christmas time so it is easier just to reheat them. But she puts it in the freezer. Oh yes they can be bought too...I have added some websites....so hopefully it will help you.

No, I haven't, but what about buying or making pie dough & making your own burger pies? J ust start remembering the flavors, & you'll be able to figure out most of them. Play with the ingredients, & I bet it won't be long until you'll have it. Have fun!
BTW, were they individual pies, like in a stuffed dough, then fried? Just curious, sounds good!

Gotta be good! Anyway, it doesn't sound to me. If you ever find out where to buy them, let me know. I would gladly give them a try!

Are you trying to kill your kids? Get off your lazy a** and cook something nutritious and not so fatty or salty for them.
