I would love to know the source of your information. First, I don't think animals 'accidentally' kill. I also very much doubt that people will then go out killing animals. Then you totally switched gears to lumber. Know what? Lumber, just like tomatoes, comes from a renewable resource. They plant trees to make lumber. Every time they cut an old growth, it is reseeded to make more trees.

Sustainable Forestry Defined
Sustainable forestry means managing our forests to meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs by practicing a land stewardship ethic which integrates the reforestation, managing, growing, nurturing and harvesting of trees for useful products with the conservation of soil, air and water quality, wildlife and fish habitat and aesthetics.

With all these companies tearing down the forests, we're cutting into the wild animals homes. I don't blame a wild animal if they attack as it is probabley someone in their territory, and for people to go out and kill an animal for this reason is horrible. It's not the animal's fault, it's their nature to protect themselves as well as their babies. The more we cut down, the more these animals are being pushed towards the residences, and therefore opens up a possible attack on some innocent person. It truly is a shame. I adore all animals even if they are ugly and stinky. There is a reason why the animals are they way they are. I think it is wrong to kill any animal and it is wrong to take a person's life. Sorry, I just had to add that part in as well.

Unfortunately... It is life. They kill the animal not only for the safety of people but for the betterment of the dogs quality of life. Once an animal attacks another or a human in a violent manner, there usually is not much you can do for them. Sometimes it IS the HUMANE thing to do for the dog. Not just the person. They don't have any wild dog retreats I'm sure and wolves would kill it.

As far as the trees go... I agree with you on that one. But there is so little we can do other than re planting the trees. I think the rain forest is a damn shame!

We will learn however when the effects of the ozone have depleted our oxygen so much that we can't breathe because we don't have enough trees to clean the air for us... Then we'll fly off and populate another planet and cultivate and destroy it too...

All human beings are in the big scheme of things is leeches with a higher intelligence. We are advanced biological retards at best. Unfortunately there are not enough scientists to counter the stupidity of the indivisual man and what they kill and waste and use up beyond natures natural ability to reproduce... Will be the death of us all eventually.

Well, it's not as simple as you describe. I agree that animals have every right to exist, and we are invading their territory by living in the country, but would you let an animal constantly invade your property, kill your pets, or give them rabies? As for building houses, somebody will eventually buy the house and live in it. What would we do for houses if all of a sudden we weren't allowed to cut down trees? They are a renewable source, you know. By the way, animals don't usually "accidentally" kill someone. They don't have the mental capacity to do anything accidentally. It's out of instinct and survival.

OK you are on the right track but there are somethings that I disagree w/ if say some bear tried to eat my son than I would totally go out and kill that bastard but if the bear is just chillin know I won't hurt it but if we don't kill some they will over run us and they are more powerful that is what hunting season is about we need the space and there are to many animals if you don't weed them out the tree thing sucks but we just need to plant more and if so many people weren't coming to are country all the time we wouldn't need to build so many damn houses in the 1st place

Well, since our existance, there was killing...
humans killing animals for food, skin, etc, - and in some cases, protection - and animals killing humans for food or protection.

What is really bad is killing animals just for the sake of killing them - for hunting and pleasure...

Regarding wood...again, since our existance, they were used for warming, and later for paper making [first appearance was Papyrus ans was used by ancient Egyptians]. Now, wood is nearly used in everything - houses, furniture, warming, paper, etc.

You can't really live without it, but when I was in England, I noticed something really good - when you buy a ream of papers for example, you find on the back of it written:
"We plant a tree for each one we cut down"
which I concider, a really wise thing, as if they don't do that, a lot of animals won't survive, and humans would also loose a lot - no wood for industrial usage...

Ultimately, the world does not care about any one persons views. Or even hundreds of thousands of pleading voices. One voice does not matter. It is best to save your energy and time to survive as best you can. There are alot of starving people who think it is not fair that the world produces enough food to feed the entire worlds population of 6+ billion roughly 10 times over or more. Yet no country will GIVE food away without setting some kind of price.

well I agree with you about the animals thing. It's mostly our fault, and I'm sorry but, if something outweighs you by 200 lbs and it has teeth. If you piss it off, that's your own problem dude. On the cutting down trees thing.............well people gotta live somewhere, but they don't have to build 20,000 square foot houses, that's wasteful. But I'm not chaining myself to any trees anytime soon.

as far as the animals go i agree but when it comes to trees sorry every builder across the nation builds houses for people who are buying they dont build houses so they can sit empty the real problem you are pinpointing is the population explosion and imigration which increases the need for homes and apartments which require lumber. just my opinion.
