I don't think that we are.
One could argue (and many have) that the "end of times" was upon us at almost every juncture of history. The fall of Rome, the rise of the Holy Roman Empire, the Crusades, the invasion of Europe by Muslims, the fall of the Holy Roman Empire. World War Two, the black death, the Millennium. All of these evens were called the final sign, all came and went with no "end of times". Yes the world changed during and after each event. Sometimes not for the better, but in the long run, we are growing as a race. We are learning.
War in the Middle East? Is this the sign? How about the ones in 1948, 1956, 1967, 1973 (Arab Israeli wars) 1975 through 1990 (Lebanese Civil Was), 1990-91 (Gulf War) or 1980-88 (Iran-Iraq war)?

I don't think so.....even though I am Catholic I don't belive that this is the end times.
Some small part of me observes the fact that Nostradomus and the ancient aztecs both predicted approx 2012 but even that I find hard to belive.
People for hundreds if not thousands of years have thought that they have been living in the end times, and have always been able to prove it with wars and natural disasters and such, just as we are saying now.
Within the past 100 years the end times were always thought to be upon us. WWI, WWII, Floods, Tsunamies, Volcanos, etc, but what people don't realize is that the exact same type of things have been going on forever, and the world has been just as bad as it ever has been.
Sometimes I think that maybe people misinturperet the meaning of endtimes. Maybe it means the end times within yourself, and not for the whole world.
Just my thoughts, but the longer I live, I keep seeing that life just keeps chugging along. Even if some whackjob does unload a couple of bombs across the world, and millions die, people will still be here, and still expanding with their ever changing enviroment.

diffirent religons have diffirent views, but according to some in Revelations the bible gives the signs of the end of time. Those signs include more natural disasters than ever before (think of all the hurricans this year), the the world will be like sodom, and that the whole word will be at war.

I'm not so sure we are. People say we are because of all the natural disasters, but if you look back in history, this kind of thing has happened before and lots of people thought it wass the end. Maybe the world won't last another 500 years, but I don't think it'll happen anytime in my generation.

nothing makes me think so, and , yet, everything makes me think so.
do I sound philosophical? I wish it would hurry up either way.
I predict that the human race is run, but no-one ever listens to me anyway.
nostril-thingy has predicted the end of the world many times, depending on who interpreted his writings.
god I don't have a problem with, it's all the sulphurous morons that claim that god is unknowable and claim to know him.

The end times is after Israel received the breath of life. it's the story of dried bones in Ezekiel 37 I believe. some believe that it was when the Jews took control of Israel and some think it was in 67 when they took control of Jerusalem. I'm not sure which it is but that is the mark of the end times. and that is why I believe we are in it.

It's all in your head. If you take a closer look into our past, history has always repeated itself and these "end of time" years are no exception. The only thing different is the technological advances made by humans but then again we have always made advancements in the past.

I don't believe that times are anymore desperate than they were during other periods in history. The crises are certainly more publicized than they would have been during the 18th, 19th, or even much of the 20th century. The feeling of impending that you feel is more a product of media hype than any real disasters than are exceedingly worse than those in prior periods.
