I have a hard knot on my back and it's getting bigger. I have a bubble in my neck too. I am not a hideous person or anything - rather average really. I have been feeling VERY odd lately - always exhausted, so very forgetful, I cannot concentrate on anything. I have been saying things backwards, and writing things backwards. I am usually a very bright and witty person, and lately I have been struggling to get out the right words period. I can't afford to go to a doctor unless I really need to. Any suggestions? Has anyone ever heard of anything like this, or known someone who has experienced similiar?

Go to a doctor. It is best. You don't know what it is. Go as soon as you can.

No I havent. However i would suggest going to a chiropractor and maybe having an xray done.I'd suggest my chiroprator but i doubt you live in Missouri. Lets see.. Its usually about $60 a visit. And sometimes you can go to a little clinic in a small town and get an xray for about $25-$50.
You just have ta check around. You need to find out whats going on. But don't freak out just yet. Stress can do a lotta things to a person. You need to find a way to get the money and have these things checked out.
The doctors would be better to help you from there.
When i'm completely stressed my hands will shake or i'll pull some stupid neck muscle. There are however much more extreme cases.
You do need to have this checked into though. Your health is very important. Ask the doctors , work out a payment plan. Most people are willing to help you. It may be a bit of a hassle on the way there but don't give up.
I've always said that noone knows your body like you do. If you feel like something is wrong don't give up on it.

I wouldn't go extreme and think you're dying. You might have to have the lump removed.
But until they take an xray you can never be for sure.

No, I can't say that I have experienced this before, but I would like to ask you if you're feeling stressed, or depressed? These seem like some of the symptoms to me! Um, you might want to seek a doctor's opinion. It might be good to know what a physician might think - but I doubt that he would conclude that you are dying. The very most he might do is issue a medication or something...you could ask about a CAT scan if the issue was really bothering you. Either way, I think you should talk to a doctor. Even if nothing is wrong, it would be better to know, you know? I hope you get better soon!

The best thing for you to do if you think you're going to die is to go to a doctor, whether you are dying because of these symptoms or not, the stress of thinking that you might, might actually cause you to fell worse. Just explain your symptons to a doctor, they might be able to help you... I've never really heard anything like this, but it doesn't sound too serious to me, but still something you need to see the doctor about if you're worried, and you're always felling exhausted.

Go to the docter as for the backwards thing....it may be a sign of dsphlexia whice causes the mind to mix up words and pictures. There have been very many famous people with it so do not worry. But, i'd still see a docter.

Jamie, i dont know, but I am guessing that you might be depressed (sometimes without you knowing). I had a similar issue sometime back, but i was not saying or writing backwards. What happened was I was less efficient than before in many things (like getting things done, solving probems etc) and it was because i had a pile things to take care of and was sometimes depressed. it took me some time to realize this and i started with yoga and meditation. Now I am back to my happy and confident days. Through my experience, I realizes that it was all in my head - i didnt loose my intelligence or capabilities but my mind was blocking me to use myself. Try some relaxation techniques like meditation and yoga, free your mind (like in the movie matrix) and you will see the change.

I don't think you're dying, but worrying about dying can have strange effects. Assuming your're not making this up, it sounds like some sort of weird conversion disorder. In which case you would need to consult a medical doctor and probably be referred to a mental health practitioner.

I suggest you go to the doctor. There may be a real problem. I know you say you don't have the money but it's better to be in debt and be healthy than to die of something that could have been treated.

Never heard of this darling, go to a doctor. If you cant afford it they should be able to provide you with some sort of payment plan, or sometimes they pay for it if its not too serious. But I really think that you need some immediate medical attention.

I don't think you are dying but it would be best to talk to a doctor. To me it sounds like symptoms of a stroke but I'm really not sure. 🤔

I'm not doctor but I'd get that checked out. Could be a tumor or a blocked blood vessel back there. Sounds like trouble.
