Because Jesus was Jewish, the Dead Sea Scrolls were Jewish texts, and Bethlehem was a Jewish town.

Well, Jesus was Jewish; in Judaism, He is considered a prophet, teacher and Rabbi. However, we as Christians know He is the Messiah! The Holy-land is Israel and who would know more about the Holy-land than it's occupants (The Israelites...) Information passed down from generation to generation...
Actually, the New Testament in the Holy Bible even though it was written by Jewish men they were also Christians. They were followers of Christ; hence the name Christian.
Christians weren't called Christians until after Jesus...and that happened in Antioch.

More amazingly is, that anyone that could read and write Hebrew would perpetuate the myths.
FIRST, If an individual did exist.., as texts may indicate, his name ABSOLUTELY WAS NOT JESUS !!!
That is the GREEK translation to the proper name of YHSVH.
I will not even venture into debate about this.., this is FACT.., NOT FAITH!!
SECOND, It was "The Scrolls of Qarum".., NOT /no such thing as.., The dead sea scrolls

fireball226... those books are books that were included in the LXX (Septuagint, the Greek translation of the Old Testament) that were never accepted by the Jews in the first place.
bigbill4u... "Jesus" is not Greek. The Greek language has no letter J.

My first question is.... Jews can't be Christians????
Secondly, name your source. I know many valid, respected texts that are written by "Christian" authors that cover the era surrounding the time Christ was on earth. There are also many secular authors that have covered the topic in great detail.

An independent point of view. Christian writers talk either about the divinity of Jesus, or they talk about his teacings and what they mean. An independent writer will talk about Jesus the man.

I've heard of atheists doing research for books like these, and converting to Christianity after reviewing the evidence. Huh, go figure. Hey, are you that guy from "Jews for Judiasm"?
