It is impossible to come up with a list of sins because sin is not about deeds. It is about an attitude.

Following is what the Catholic Church teaches:

Sin is an offense against reason, truth, and right conscience; it is failure in genuine love for God and neighbor caused by a perverse attachment to certain goods. It wounds the nature of man and injures human solidarity. It has been defined as "an utterance, a deed, or a desire contrary to the eternal law."

The "eternal law" is "You shall love God and love your neighbor"

Well breaking any of the ten commandments:

1. Love God Above Everything Else
2. Don't Use (swear) the Lord's name in Vain
3. Remember the sabbath day, and keep it holy
4. Honor thy Father and thy Mother
5. You shall not Murder
6. You shall not commit any impure act or immorality
7. You Shall Not Steal
8. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor
9. You shall not desire your neighbors wife
10.You shall not covet your neighbor’s house or property

Breaking anyone of those, is considered a sin!

There is a very comprehensive book on the subject of Catholicism written by a very devout and brilliant writer named Father Richard McBrien. While it has not been endorsed as a canonical doctrine by the Church, it is still very throrough and well-researched. I suggest you read that for some answers, rather than "trolling" here for responses, assuming you wanted something substantial rather than superficial.

I'm catholic but I HATE it soooo much!! I don't really care what's sinful and not sinful at this point.. because I've sinned as much as a normal 16 year old..

hmm let's see:

picking your nose in public.
saying anything negative.
kissing someone of the opposite sex.
having feelings for someone of the opposite sex.
having sex before marriage.
masturbating.
feeling another person before marriage.
saying god's name in vain.
saying other profanity words.
lying (even if it's a good little white lie).
not listening to your elders.
disrespecting elders.
not obeying our parents.
hurting people physically/mentally/or socially.

and there's sooo much more.....

good luck!

It is all in the 10 Commandments!

If you REALLY want to know, get a copy of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, it is ALL there in black and white and NOT subject to change with the whims of individual leaders!

It is not easy being a Christian, but always worth the effort!

You can get a copy here:

Peace be With you!
