probably, because your stool is very hard or dry.
You're prolly not drinking enough water or fluids throughout your day and eating things like cheese or bananas. They will definatly stop you up good.
You can either eat more high fiber foods, or eat prunes.
Worst case, take a laxative or stool softener.

Why do you ask such a personal question?
If you don't go for a couple of days, your poo becomes compacted. It actually becomes too fat for your bung hole. When you grunt it out it hurts, tears and then bleeds. Hope this answers your sore a$$ question.

You could have hemorrhoids, or maybe you need more fiber in your diet. Or try drinking more water. If your "poo" is bigger then the hole it is coming through, it will stretch the rectum and cause the pain.

Eat more fiber and try taking Colace. It's a stool softener and will make it easier to pass.
