Ok. I know why they ask, but I want to know if anyone posts wrong answers so that they learn a lesson and do their own homework. I'm not talking about kids who want HELP, but kids who simply post their homework question and expect us to do their work for them.

Sometimes I toss out wrong answers.
But I back them up with very detailed and slightly flawed logic.

Below the age of around 12, these kids were brought up getting everything they wanted, when they wanted. They're all spoiled. Yesterday I was in a Verizon store and saw a parent buying her kid (around the age of 6 or 7) a full blown cell phone, like the one I had bought days before (I'm 18 years old). So them wanting homework answers is no different. They want it, and they know they'll get it if they keep asking.

Man, before Senior year, I never even thought about asking for homework help online. The only time I've ever asked for homework help (and it was on a specific site for homework help), was on my Thesis Paper for English. And you know what I asked? What was the proper way to cite sources. Not "would someone please do this paper for me?" (Well, they'd say something like "Wood sm1 plz!! du diz ppr 4 i?!?!!")

I completely agree. (with above) regrettably, some teenagers don't have mom and father which will help, and whether they do, their mom and father would possibly no longer comprehend the textile themselves. alongside with that, those mom and father might no longer be prepared or would possibly no longer be able to discover the money for tutoring. What greater desirable thank you to ask for suggestion and help than on line with people all international that can grant different evaluations and perspectives on the same concern?! Now, of direction, i do no longer somewhat have self belief in giving an absolute answer to any homework. although, if we adults (and different teenagers alike) are able to lead somebody in the main remarkable direction, what's the version in that as against asking outright to a instructor? it somewhat is as much as the student to place the in basic terms top answer down on paper, and in the event that they take our solutions at be conscious's worth without doing their very own learn, and go incorrect, that maintains to be their burden to hold. That, in itself, is a studying journey to collect good education and refer that education to sturdy materials as a 2d and third verify. LilD

I wast JUST going to complain myself!! For crap's sake, its like they have the entire internet to search, if that wasnt easy enough-- now they make OTHER poeple search FOR THEM, how LLAAZZYY can they be or get??

Holy Crap, take a second to type it in google, or no- I know: read your text book!! Isnt it their responsibility, and not ours?? I know, I'm being extreme here but it really does bother me! :P

I think such questions might be better off banned.... but that's not so fair to those who sincerely are stuck. That's always how it goes- because some people abuse something, others have to pay... that might eventually happen?

I have done this when it's very obvious that they are simply looking for someone to do their work for them. If a kid is simply looking for direction on how to begin, I am more than happy to offer good advice.

Kids - I hope you see this one. Don't believe everything you read on the internet. You can't get someone to do your work for you your entire life. You need to learn how to solve your own problems, or you'll never amount to anything. We have enough drains on society now.

That is correct but wouldnt that be a rude and cruel punishment. Yes I get your point but this forum is specially made for them.. If there is a forum for hair styles or dinner forum, then this is an opportunity for the kids to learn about self confidence when it comes to asking questions. Kids these days do sometimes tend to hesitate to ask a question which will somehow make them more unexcited about homework and giving them the wrong answer as a punishment will definitely lower their self-esteem to not only learn in school but also to have courage to be able to ask someone with their problems... I suggest that people who are giving them the right answer, explain it for them not just giving the RIGHT answer..Got that

Blame on the technology. Technology makes kids lazier and lazier. That's all I have to say.
