Please give answers in ounces, not liters, I don't feel like doing conversions today. I ask this because I find that every "expert" has a different theory on this issue. I wonder if I am hyper-hydrating myself. I'm cutting WAY back, but I used to drink close to one and a half US gallons of water per day.

I have always heard 6 8 oz glasses...so around 48 ounces...but I have heard of people drinking gallons and gallons...usually when you think you are hungry, you are actually only thirsty...so drinking helps you cut down on that...
