It depends. Do you want a puppy or an adult dog. I highly suggest adopting a dog from a shelter. Puppys require a lot of attention and training. Check out

to help you decide. Getting a dog is a big committment for the next ~15 yrs. Will you always have a space for him? Will your work/classes keep you away from getting him outside and enough love and play time/exercise? Will you have time to housetrain them and deal with their accidents? Can you afford all their food, toys, bedding, and medical costs like heartworm preventative, flea/tick control, and yearly vet visits...? Choosing a dog is not something you should go into lightly. Different breeds tend to behave differently with different energy levels. Do some research. Spend time getting to know a dog before you adopt him. Ask questions. Learn their history. Good luck!

Yes, I think you should get a new dog. Dogs are wonderful pets, to have. They are so cute and compasionet. When you are sad they will give you a great big kiss and cheer you right up! Some types of dog breeds you should think about getting may be: a pomeranion; they are so cute and never hert you. if you get it at a puppy they are very easy to trane. so overall YES get a new dog!

Yes you should. but it is your choice if you think a different dog could replace your other dog. I used to have a yellow lab and we had to put him to sleep so i guess i could relate to you a little.
