I am dating somebody who is 10 years older - I didn't know when I met him, the age is not the thing that matters. I say if you have enough in common things WILL work out!!

When I was 21 or 20 I went out with a 18 year old,It didn't last because he loved rap music and I loved all music.at the time Avril Lavigne was my favorite singer and he hated her.We both live in differents worlds, one of my crushes is a year or 2 younger then I am He would be the only guy I would date.but if I fell in love with someone who was 2 years younger,I would date him because age is only a #.

2 years younger isn't much at all, I'm 22 so dating a guy thats 20 isnt a problem if he has his stuff together. And I've dated guys alot older, neither is a problem.

If you're over the age of 20 the two years difference is no problem but if you're younger then it might cause a problem.

You should only ever be with someone because you love that person.

My parents are 2 years apart.
My aunt and uncle are 4 years apart.
My grandparents are 10 years apart. (married more than 50 years too)
Me and my GF are about 4 and a half years apart.

For a girl, it's best that the boy or man be older, because you want someone you can look up to, who can "take the lead in the dance" (so to speak) and you not be as his mother. Liberals will disagree with this, but the formula for success in life is to never listen to them.

If he is mature and can put real things that make a relationship work instead of sex, then I don't see why not.
