Reversing the gender situation, and assuming that when you say "caught" you mean they were up to no good, I would say C'est la Vie and Ciao. If she wanted to be with someone else more than she wanted to be with me, then so be it.

Well, that would depend on a few things.

1) What he was doing with the other woman

2) How serious the relationship between us was.

If we were only casually dating (as in non-exclusively) and I saw him socially in the company of another woman I might be upset, but it wouldn't be anything I'd hold against him because he hadn't violated the terms of our relationship. I might be curious as to the nature of their relationship, but I wouldn't automatically assume the worst. If we were exclusively dating, I would see it as my right to know what was going on.

If I caught him in bed with another woman, well, that's a bigger deal in either case. If we were exclusive, it would be over. If we weren't exclusive I would take it as a sign that it might be time to discuss the current nature of our relationship and where it might go in the future.

In fact, this may be a good idea to discuss the nature of your relationship and it's possible future even if you just saw them together socially and it bothered you.

It's always easy to say what one will do or not do when the situation is not presented. However, I would most likely be puzzled first, following a line of questions to determine the nature of their encounter before I react and or respond. If this is only someome I'm dating it will make a difference depending on what kind of relatonship we agreed to having. Be patient, inquire before reacting, then respond appropriately.

depends. If I caught him spending time with a woman, I would hope it was a friend and ask to be introduced.

If I caught him in the act with another woman, I would leave, and never speak to him again.

If both of you acknowledged this was an exclusive relationship, then he cheated on you and you need to run, not walk, away.
Cheating men RARELY ever change their ways. Luckily you found this out about him before marriage.
Let it go and find another one who might be faithful to a committed relationship.

Find out the reason 1st of course. Sometimes people might be in a difficult situation that would be hard to explain to his/her partner.

Don't make early judgement, if it's not correct things will go really worst.

Shock at first. Then relief at the thought that we were only dating and not married. Then I would find the nearest bar, and get a good buzz going. My thoughts would sound lke this, "that no good, low down, dirty *******, ******* ******, who in the H*** does he think he is, ****ing ***hole!! I'll show him who can **** around. Then I would bring myself home, cry myself to sleep, and write him off the next day. I would pity the fool if he came around me or tried to get in touch with me. His belongings would be out of my house and he would be totally out of my life. No apologies accepted.

I would be piissed! I'd probably want to slap him, then share a few words with him, then break up with him and wish the woman better luck with keeping him from cheating on her and leave.

To beat them both viciously about the head and shoulders with the first blunt, heavy object that came to hand. Any more questions?

I'd be mad but if your just dating and there is no commitment to one another then even though your mad you really don't have any right to be pissed at him. If you committed then kick his a$$ to the curb cause you shouldn't put up with that ****!
