Airbus build a whole range of aircraft, varying from around 120 seats up to 500 plus seats, the best place to look is at this link where they show all the families of aircraft they build. They call them families since one type of aircraft can have a number of variants, for example longer or shorter, better range etc.
All the aircraft they bulid are the large jet type, and are as safe or safer as any other large aircraft out there.

Airbus is a competitor to Boeing when it comes to commercial airliners. Their aircraft are about the same size inside and out when it comes to aircraft of the same class as Boeing. It's kind of analagous to Toyota vs. Honda or Chevy vs. Ford.
I recently flew on a Boeing 737 to San Diego and on an Airbus A320 on the way back home on United Airlines. Both aircraft were very similar inside. In fact, I thought I was on another 737 until the safety video started, mentioning "welcome aboard the A320".
