there have been some interesting discussions about this - Jane Goodall witnessed some apes behaving in a way that could only be described as ritualistic after some lightening struck nearby.

What were they thinking/feeling? I don't think we can know, but it's an interesting thing to ponder.

Why would they worship when they don't have a soul? As for ritualistic behavior....that kinda points to evolution doesn't it?

Animals are immune to dogma.
