If you were a bit more sensitive about it, and tried not to hurt him, then you might have a chance. Unfortunately, I wouldn't ever suggest taking someone back after they've dumped you...so if he was asking me...i'd tell him to avoid you. Since you're asking... I'll say... tell him why YOU weren't ready for the relationship, and that it was YOUR fault, and that YOU think you can make it work. Tell him how much work YOU are wiling to do to make it successful. The key here is that he is a great guy... and if you want him back, YOU are going to have to own YOUR mistakes, so that he knows you are serious.
Here's my advice for all women... STOP MESSING WITH THE GREAT GUYS. If you get one, KEEP HIM... dont date him...discard him... date some other PR*CK and then think..."wow...he was sooo sweet... and he really loved me". How about you value what you have and do your best to keep it.

If you really think he is worth it, and if you know when you take him back you wont leave him except if he gives you a reason why, the do whatever it takes to get him back. It hurts if you get dumped by a girl, so to get rid of that feelings is to stay away for a very long time until that feelings has gone away. So be carefull in your decision, Ive been dumped and hurts like hell. but we always have little hope of the girl coming back and saying she made a mistake. Goodluck to you

once u find that out, move on and find another guy cuz if he liked u and u broke his heart chances are u wont get him bak.

Well all I can advise is that you talk and to him and be prepared for some serious grovelling. He might reject you or he might not and you need to be prepared for both. You're going to have to really convince this guy that you made a mistake in letting him go and that you want him back. Its going to be tough especially as he might now want to listen to what you have to say but provided that you really really want to be with him you'll have to try try again and make sure that he listens. Afterwards the decision is his.

Remember why you dumped him in the first place. If this doesn't work, examine yourself to make sure you're not one of those people who only want what you don't have.
And if you dumped him and he didn't try to change your mind, then maybe it wasn't as good as you thought to begin with.

Ask yourself why you dumped him first.If it was because he got to close and you got scared then tell him so and tell him you're sorry and you will make it up to him.But if you're not serious and just want him for the sake of it and because you're afraid you won't find anyone like him then just leave it alone.If it's love or you think it could be GO FOR IT! x

My ex gf did the same thing. Said she wanted me back like a year later. Guess what? People move on. When you break up with someone it is usually very emotional for them and takes them a long time to get over it. You better hope he hasn't gotten over you yet.
