We've been dating for 4 weeks, but the month is in 3 days; which is the actual 'anniversary'?

for now, both.... from now onwards, the "month", not the weeks... a year later you won't be counting the weeks, it'll be all about the date

neither. quit looking for unimportant milestones to celebrate, and instead celebrate each other. You dont need a 1 week, 3 day and 14 hour anniversary to tell you that the other person is important to you. A 4 week or 1 month anniversary is unimportant because to celebrate the adversity that you've likely been challenged with throughout your relationship. What challenges have you overcome in a month?!? I wouldn't recommend celebrating anything shorter than 6 months.

I would go by actual month. Like if you started dating July 1st, August 1st is your 1 month anniversary.
