Assuming you believe we are born into "sin" and "sin" is our nature which we must defeat through Godly righteousness, this is the upper advantage.
By handicaps I mean our genes, our personalities, our society, our upbringing....
I hate that I have to explain the question, but I'm finding it is a necessity in order to get a comprehensive answer which addresses the ACTUAL question...............

Wow, steamroller9, that makes just about NO sense.
and thanks to everyone else who either misunderstood my question completely despite my explanation, made crap up out of thin air (as tradition would have it) or painted a picture of God which is completely nonsensical and horrifying.

There is where your thinking is off - If there was Original Sin - who did the original sin - Adam & Eve? You relly believe God puts sin on a new born baby? This would mean that all Babys that die at Birth are going to Hell.
This thinking just does not make since - why would God create someone and let them enter the gates of Hell without giving them a chance to do what is right.
Well - the answer is simply this - Babys are not born with sin - this is a thoery that man thought of and is taught differently in the Bible.
So - after saying all that - God does not give Satan the upper hand at nothing - men do.

I do not assume "we are born into sin" the same way you do. I believe we choose. This can lead to sin.
Satan does not have an advantage over God in the "Soul Game." Mankind has freedom of choice, which comes about when the person reaches an age of being able to make decisions. We choose. What we choose is up to us.
We are not born into sin because a newborn baby has not sinned. We are born into a world of sin, which came about through the original sin of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.
We have sin and forgiveness both in our nature. The Bible says each of us has the necessary measure of faith to get us through. Some of us choose to ignore this measure of faith and select a different route.
Whatever handicaps we have were overcome with Jesus' death on the cross. That eliminated Satan's power over us completely, if we trust in Jesus completely. Completely is the hard part for us to get ourselves wrapped around.

It isn't that God is giving Satan a handicap, but that the handicap is a natural result of sin. God isn't doing anything about it because He needs to prove to all His creation that sin is really bad, so He can get rid of it for good.
If He had wiped out Adam and Eve Satan could and would have called God unfair. Maybe even influencing God's creation totally against Him, so He is letting sin "play out" as proof that it is so bad ot must be gotten rid of permanently. After our world (and doesn't it suck that we are the ones that got tagged) proves God right and fair He will destroy evil for good. Then if it ever raises it's head again He will just get rid of it.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.
The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of God plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.
Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.
Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.
Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

The handicaps came when Adam and Eve, who were perfect, ate of the tree and invited Satan into them and the world. What people don't realize is that we have Victory over the devil already, Jesus beat him down at the cross. It's a matter of knowing the Word and the ways that we have victory and also lies largely on what you think and what you say. For example: people go around saying, "the flu is going around, I'll probably be next, " Bam, their sick: now instead saying "the flu's going around, Thank God that by the stripes of the Lord Jesus I am healed." Believe the Word, meditate on it, and speak it forth as much as possible.

We are not born sinful, with a sinful nature. This is false doctrine, and commonly misunderstood.
Ezekiel 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
Children are born innocent, and we are entirely capable of obeying God, even though many choose not to do so.

God gave you the right to be whoever you want to be. He doesn't force you to accept him. He gave you the freedom to choose who you want to worship. God or Satan. To go in whatever direction you choose. Heaven or Hell.
What you choose to do with your life is completely up to you. Even if you don't believe in a mightier power. It's still your choice.
God gives you what you need to make it thru this life. You have to accept what you need for the the next life. If you believe there is one. We are told,"To find God, First, you must search for him."

Do you actually care, or are you simply trying to word an attack as a question? Since you call it the "Soul Game," it seems apparent that your level of respect towards the topic is pretty minimal.
