OMG! Sheena, now that you mentioned it, he does bear a resemblence to PM Lee Hsien Loong.

I found PM Lee's speech to be very "safe", not too outgoing nor dynamic, putting lots into not offending any sectors ( which is a good thing since Singapore is multi cutural and has been since ages... and it works wonderfully well for Singapore ). I think this year his speech is more in motivating the people than anything else. Then again... I have very biased views on all politicians lol... seems to me they is all crooked or uptight or seductors of interns..ahem... last one was a low blow ( no pun intended )lol

But then again Clinton looks 45767% better than Bush jr. OR Snr.

p/s: Apologies for being wicked... but I had to...err... the devil made me do it?

I don't know the answer coz I wasnt there, speeches are usually so heavilly doctored to appeal to the masses in modern days that most times it seems to lack sincerity. I hope Lee Hsien Loong will be as Dynamic as SM Goh and SM Lee KY.

By the way... did anyone ever tell you, you look like Lee Hsien Loong in your current icon picture lol. One diff is you ain't wearing White, and look a lot younger... you are not his nephew or cousin or anything of that sort are you?

if there are more and more foreign talents coming to Singapore, i do expect more variable goodies such as the Progress Package because i have depression for more than 10 years and is preventing me from finding a simple job as i am having after-shocks of depressions and very sensitive to the outside world though i am IT-literate at over 90 percent.

i wonder if there are people like me who need some help example introducing clients to us for freelance jobs since we are already IT-literate at over 90 percent but are having the after-shocks of depressions for over 10 years?

maybe can setup a freelance internet portal which introduces freelance jobs to IT-literate Singaporeans?
