with over/unders your paying mostly for the appearance of the gun(grade/finish). Mossbergs are good guns and in the same price range as the remington spartan. both are imported from russia or eastern europe i think.

I always like the regular single barreled pump shotguns.I don't have any experience with the over and unders, so I guess if this is what strikes your fancy, go for it.

Excellent weapon for the price. The O/U is the way to go for doves. Light weight, good shoulder fit, just an all around solid weapon.
