release a guilty one... i can't even imagine how hard it must be for a person who didn't do anything wrong to be in jail all of a sudden.... and to be treated like a reject and be called a murderer. it must be horrible! i mean, have you ever seen the movie 'true crime' with clint eastwood? or 'green mile' with tom hanks? those are both very sad movies and i wish nobody to be in that situation!

The question of guilt is a purely legal one, and in our legal system, it's decided by a jury. Until guilt is proven, everyone is innocent, and if that happens, innocence is no longer an issue, so no innocent person is ever sent to prison. However, there are plenty of people wrongly convicted of crimes, which is a true tragedy. As for your question, I do believe that if I were on a jury, deciding the fate of someone I thought had done the crime, if there was no compelling evidence proving it, I would have no problem voting to acquit even if everyone else voted to convict.

I would better release a guilty one, because there chances are high that I can convince that person and make him a good one.

Send the innocent person in. If they didn't have the balls to do it in the first place a good stretch inside will toughen them up a bit!

ooooo tricky question. I choose release the guilty one because if he is being released then he has already served time, and they wouldn't allow him to go if he wasn't on good behavior. Booo Ya!!!
