I have a third kidney.

Additional nipples are not uncommon and are often lower on the breast itself. Usually they are much smaller and less fully formed than the main two nipples but rarely are further down the chest and can have some breast tissue underlying them.
They always develop along a curved line on each side of the chest starting in the armpits, going through the main nipple and curving inward and down towards the crotch. (image at http://www.sexdictionary.info/nipples_supernumary.html ) It is just a bit of developmental tissue that reacted to the same signals in utero that cause the main nipples to develop. No problem, no concern and while anything can be whacked off nowadays, there's no medical reason to do so.
They react to hormones like the two main nipples do. So they get a bit larger and darker during pregnancy. You can not nurse a infant with them except in exceptional cases and then not very much at all. And they should examined duing your monthly breast self-exam just like the main nipples.
90-95% of women have two nipples. Maybe 5% have a third of varying size, although some may have thought of it as a mole or birthmark until a doctor tells them or pregnancy causes it to change. A tiny fraction have more than 3.
Men can also develop supernumary nipples, but because third nipples tend to be smaller and the guys tend to be in denial about such things, they would almost always be thought of as a mole.

In the olden days people thought that a third nipple was proof that you were a witch and if you weren't burnt at the stake you were drowned in the village pond.
Do you have a third boob to go with the nipple, if so, do you have to have a special bra made or do you quash two in together ??? (he he he)

I've seen so many people claiming to have a 3rd nipple on here that I don't believe it any more.
I am agnostic about 3rd nipples. I need proof.
