I've learned to read & write.
PS: OMG, did anyone say crayons? Yeah, I've learned not to insert red crayon in my nose anymore. I did on 1st grade and that was traumatic.
.. Oh sorry, haha.. confused. Edited!

How to spell "learned' j/k, that was mean... "Lord I apologize...."
So much focus is put on learning just what's in the books, but I think the best teachers are the ones that take all the "memorize this" out of the books, and instead teach it as "this is how it applies to your life." However, I would have to say that the one thing that I have learned from school is that all the book knowledge in the world is overestimated, because they can't teach common sense. It'd be nice if that was a class, but it's just not taught. And having been all over the country, I can honestly say that the south has more people with a lot of common sense than the North.....they have the idiots too (ever seen the "we're gonna stay and rebuild... yes, those are idiots). But if technology crashed, it would be the people in the south that are smart enough to survive.

The war of hastings was in 1066
Seriously school taught me how to associate with people. How to use the proper grammar, and be a fairly good speller. I learned about society and world wide issues, and how things work in the government, politics and that kind of thing. Fundamentals of Math but I am not a math person. I think THE most important thing was learning to read.

Well I am from Sainik School Kunjpura.
U will be having many answers and mine will be one of those.
What my school gave me is "me, myself". My school told me what i am and what i can be. My school clearly stated that we can't give you anything................ not any quality is like a tablet that could be taken and haven. They said you jus have to discover ur self and that i did.
and I agree to that because main problem with us is that we don't know ourself. And school acted as a mirror and that was the time which changed my life. And that is the thing I learnt from school : To know what i m

well... i think that the life you lead when u r in school makes u who u r in society. My school life was great...n by great i don't mean all peachy. I had my ups n downs. I learned a lot of lessons abt life, people and mostly abt my self. It made me try new things(in a good way), it gave me a chance to discover my talents n put them to good use. It taught me the meaning of friendship. All in all i have a great school life to look back on n tell my kids abt some day!!!!!!

Syntax- it's a wonderful thing!!!
I also learned (regarding prepositions) there are some things up with which I will not put.
The only thing from school that I haven't used since I left is French. I could care less about a foreign language, it was challenging enough to learn English. i.e. which/witch to/too/two there/their/they're read/read wind/wind etc.
