Their issues are all about control. And like religious zealots, they feel that if they can convince others of their point of view, they have somehow validated their concepts. They feel like if they control their behavior, they will be rewarded. I can guarantee with 100% certainty that not a single one of the nutritional supplement proponents will live forever.
I chose omniverous, non-smoking lifestyle, because it makes me feel better. I hope I don't live abnormally long life though, I just like getting through whatever life I have feeling as good as I can. I don't preach it to others, too stingy in that way, I guess.

That is exactly my thinking! My new saying in life is "I will not die an unlived life" & i'm going to make sure i do everything in life that i want to! I'm gonna smoke when I want, I'm gonna drink what I want & i'm gonna make sure I eat as much chocolate i can!

..haha..thats what I always tell my dad. The last 10 years of his life are going to be spent justa as frail as everyone else - except for he can't blame it on anything but age. He won't have any "good times" to account for his fraility. I'd rather have some good times to blame for my troubles.
