I cannot imagine a God who rewards and punishes the objects of his creation, whose purposes are modeled after our own — a God, in short, who is but a reflection of human frailty. Neither can I believe that the individual survives the death of his body, although feeble souls harbor such thoughts through fear or ridiculous egotisms."

"The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. The religion which based on experience, which refuses dogmatic. If there's any religion that would cope the scientific needs it will be Buddhism."
"It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it." - Albert Einstein

No, nor any one could be. He was a great man who had used his brain to very large extent--perhaps the first man to use his brain in full form--that is how my teacher taught me in my eighth standered. Now I am 45 but still agree with my teacher's view and I consider Sir Albert Einstein to be the greatest wise man ever born on this earth. The second wisest man should be Chakravarti Rajagopala Chaari-the first governor general of free India who died in December 1972.

God is not personally interested in things which are going on in this material world, rewards and punishments are done through His energies. He Himself is simply enjoying together with His eternal associates in the spiritual world.

True religion is based on experience, but you cannot experience God with your blunt material senses. You must first purify your senses through authorized, scientific process.

Personal God also exists despite of some tiny Albert Einstein not believing in His existence.
The structure of the world which Einstein admires is but a tiny spark of the opulence of the Supreme Lord.

And what do you say about Albert Einstein stating the following:

"When I read the Bhagavad-Gita and reflect about how God created this universe everything else seems so superfluous." ~ Albert Einstein

So let's study Bhagavad-gita www.bhagavadgittasitis.com and gain perfect knowledge about God, individual soul etc.

If you follow Albert Einstein, where will you go? Who knows where Albert Einstein is now? Well, if you do not believe in the existence of the soul beyond the body, then he is dead now. So you will also die.

But if you follow those persons who have achieved immortality through true knowledge about the Absolute, you will also become immortal.

Good luck to you.

Interesting question. Creation itself is the largest and most evident proof of the existence of God. When you look around you and study science and nature itself, how intricate each creature and creation is in itself then you see there had to be thought behind each one; not chance. The one that made these is not frail or weak or how could he hang the earth in the heavens upon nothing? Our freedom of choice is the greatest gift from him and as a result we are neither robots or exact recreations of each other. We are individuals who can choose what we like to do and how we want to spend the rest of our lives. Our creator wants us to love him because we want to; not because he made us do anything. We choose life or we choose death. He offers us forever. Rebellion was the cause of all the evil in the world today,
Satan who was an angel in heaven wanted the glory that was God's alone in challenging his sovereignty. This issue had to be settled even though he could have brought it to an end immediately but he allowed us to choose. God alone is the one who has the ability to judge in a righteous and compassionate manner, human imperfection from inherited sin prevents us to do the same. Other evidence of existence of God is recorded in the bible through the prophets such as Noah and others who were first hand witnesses of the acts he performed and foretold ahead of time and recorded them in the bible. These were later backed up by other bible writers at various times over a period of time; some foretold over 200 years in advance. Jesus himself was resurrected after he died as proof of an actual resurrection and there were eye witnesses to this fact. Therefore the explanation of the possibility of Jesus life and existence being a fairytale is non existent. How ever the only actual proof of all these things is your time an energy expended in a personal study of your own. This can be accomplished with the help of a Jehovah's Witness if you would like with whatever free time you have available, 15 minutes or one hour a week on any day you have. A man cannot compare intelligence to any standards. That is what religion does. Each man is structured to do something in a perfected state through years of mental practice and life... Wiser than Einstein no... We are even on different levels. Same with you.

I don't think Einstein was known for wisdom. He was known for his intelligence in mathmatics and formulas. If you can draw comfort and faith from such things, I can't imagine it's a very warm feeling. I wonder what his family life was llike. I wonder if he had lots of friends. I wonder how he felt knowing that he hellped inspire some of the most deadly weapons of war known to mankind. I've never thought about Einstein and thought that he was a very happy man. It's strange that people would choose to look up to someone who struggled with life so much and then found comfort in cold numbers and no hope for a higher purpose.

Maybe, maybe. but not more intelligent. There is a difference. The last sentence of that quote gives you Einstein's true religion: Science. And if the God of the bible is indeed the one true God, then Einstein wasn't wise after all, was he?

Einstein was intelligent, but he failed to reveal the source of his intelligence. He is not God.
He was a mere human, albeit an intelligent one. The Jewish priests were intelligent too, but interpreted their own scriptures incorrectly.
Their scriptures said that the Messiah would come from the city of David, and He would be called, Elohim. Elohim means God with us. God was with us in Jesus. They said His name wasn't Elohim, and He spoke blasphemy or was a heretic, or whatever they called one who was speaking as though He were God. Even though it was all prophesy, and He was to die anyway, they brought Him before Pontius Pilate for punishment, and chose to have Him crucified.
Your statement just serves to prove that intelligence is not necessarily connected to wisdom.

Yeah, I would agree with most of that.

I hate organized religions because of their dogmatism. He chooses not to believe in a Creator, I disagree there, but that is his choice. The god of organized religions reflects human frailty because that god is a human construct - the Creator is far above that.

He was not wise, just very intelligent. It is not the same. And Albert said so after trying for years to unify the fields.

Not that I am wiser but he IS a scientist and I am not. We view the world in different ways. God knows who is wiser... :)
