What are you going for here? A return to polygamy? Cool with me, but then women get to have multiple husbands too =)

Abraham had to "wives", Sarai (or Sarah), and then after her death he married a second time to Keturah. Because his wife Sarai was barren for many years, she arranged for Abraham to have a child by her handmaiden Hagar in an effort to produce an heir.

David had a least six wives that are listed in scripture. Some where "in succession", others at the same time.

Solomon is said to have had 700 wives and 300 concubines. How many of those he actually "slept with", etc., and how many where "in name only" as part of political agreements is another matter.

Abraham had one wife by marriage, Sarah, yet before God opened Sarah's womb, he had his first son Ishmael from Sarah's egyptian handmaid Hagar, who was not his wife.

David did marry Bathsheba, but not sure about other wives. Check out Kings or Judges in the OT for that. Same thing with Solomon, I'm not even sure he was married.

Abraham had 1 wife, but his son Isaac had more than one, so did his grandson Jacob. David and Solomon had many wives. In ancient times, polygamy was part of life.

Abe had two wives. He married again after Sarah died.

King Dave had eight, although he played around too(tut, tut!)

As for King Solomon, he had around 700 I think, plus many bit's on the side also.

1, 18, 700. If you count concubines, 3, 28, 1000.

I think Abe had 1 wife and 1 extra on the side. Davey had one that belonged to anther man until he had him killed, and Solomon was too wise to get married I think. LOL
I'd have to make it an open-book bible test on this one, but I still haven't brought a bible in to work, maybe I should.

700 and 300 hundred concubines.
Man, how did he have any time to write anything?
Where was his wisdom, when he married the women that God told him not to?
Where was his wisdom when he built other temples to other gods?

Oh ya, He was still going to the whores also.
You have to know about whores if you are going to write about them.
You know, in proverbs.
