Two totally different questions and both irrelevant to what is actually going on.
Your first question:
GWB had the war-woody (if you will) to do what his daddy didn't want to do.
The former president had very good reasons not to continue with the invasion in Iraq, back in the early 1990's.
His son (a history major at Yale, no less), failed to comprehend the lessons of history and decided to ride in like some kind of cosmic cowboy (or knight, in search of the Holy Grail) with visions of being welcomed as a liberator.
If GWB is spreading ANYTHING in Iraq, it isn't love and peace...more like sectarian violence.
Now, I won't call it civil war...but how else can you descibe events in Iraq today?
Regarding your second question:
No.
The ideology was to remove an impotent dictator (Hussein) and create a form of democracy (like Israel).
Problem is (history again), the people in that part of the world are not going to change overnight, or in a few years.
It will take decades (or longer) before any semblance of democracy takes root.
And you can't just make religious factions (Kurds, Sunnis, Shi'as) just love each other.
Think about the problems in Ireland between the Catholics and Protestants.

Well if that's what the war is about, we're doing an awful job, seeing as they're killing over 3000 of each other each month. So I'd say it's not about spreading love. And seeing as the whole region is way more volatile that it was when we first arrived, I'd say it's not about spreading peace either. Being in the Army I would like to know what it is about. Because in all likelihood I will be there soon for an extended period of time.

I wonder if GWB thinks of Jesus when he thinks up strategy solutions for the world: he might forget off and on the basic truth that war can never result in love among people. War can generate a lot of disgust, misery and frustration -- and hatred: all of which Jesus strived to remove and replace with Love and Kindness. I think GWB may be trying to save the world the way he deems proper!Save ? From what or whom?! Intriguing, indeed!

It's the oil stupid.
Although W might be the antiChrist.
If killing Iraqis makes them love each other there would be more domestic massacres.
If your family gets blown away will you love your enemies more?
When will W start spreading his peace and love?

George W. Bush could care less about love let alone peace. It's all about business not love or peace.

No, yet thank God we had him right here on 9/11/01 he has completed a good job and if no longer for being incorrect on immigration, and attempting to grant our ports to foreigners and spending like a liberal he'd deserve yet another term.

I seriously doubt Bush understands or has even read the Bible much less the sections that claim to relay the words of Jesus.
If his actions are a reflection of a true Christian, I would be ashamed to call myself one.

I do not think that President Bush is trying to compete with Jesus, he is simply trying to follow Jesus as , who certainly is peace and love.
