ok, if you read my last question, you already know that i caught my now ex boyfriend out with his ex girlfriend. while we were together, he gave me a $150 (prepaid) cell phone. now that we broke up, he wants it back. i personally think i should keep it because it was a gift. i can always get the # changed, but i want your opinion. should i keep it?

A gift is a gift, its no different if he gave you a chocolate bunny or something, its kind of hard to throw it back up and give it to him. But I think you should keep. He shoudl have thought twice before going back out with his ex.

Are u keeping it to spite him, or do u really wanna keep it? If u have to have this phone tell him, to grow up, it was a gift, and dont be a indian giver. But if u want to lose ALL ties to him, give him the phone back very coolly, tell him good luck in life, and walk away. Whatever ur decision, be mature about it. Personally I would give it back, buy URSELF a better phone, u need nothing to remind urself of him, (how immature is he to ask for it back in the first place, he asked for it back because he is mad)

Yes, keep it. It was a gift. It's already paid for. And he should have remembered his gifts that he wouldn't be getting back before he cheated.

Give it back. You may have broken up but it's not nice to hurt relationships. Afterall that is his item. he has the right to ask it back.
He may want the item back for various reason, 1 of them could be to remember the relationship between you & him.
He could still be a good friend next time. You never know.

I'd first break it into pieces, put it in a box and go to his door, smiling "I brought your mobile back, thanks, I hope you'll use it wisely or you can present it to the girlfriend you have now". Say bye, before he opens the box and go away. He'll die when he sees his cell phone. But he deserves it for being a jerk.

ok, if it was for a birthday or christmas it was a gift. If he just handed it to you it wouldn't qualify as a gift and you should definately give it back. good luck
