on 8/4/06 i burned my whole hand when my smoker shot out some flames, i went to the er and was treated and sent home. 2 days later i ended up on the burn unit for 4 days, i went back for check up they said it was healed, but now everytime i hit my hand i get blood blisters or it cuts open, i still have sharp pains in my thumb and hand, does anyone know why i am getting blood blisters or why it is cutting open, after the doc said it was healed?

How bad was your hand burnt? It is amazing to me that you would end up in the burn unit for four days and then they would tell you it was healed? Okay to go home, but healed? Burns are one of the worst types of injuries to treat because of the risk of infection and the damage to the soft tissue. From what you have said, it sounds like you have done damage to sweat and oil glands in your hand. If your hand can not moisten the skin itself, it will crack and bleed easily. The blood blisters you describe could be very similar, but the break did not make it all the way through the skin and formed a blister under the skin. Use a good moisturizer on your hand and that should help the elasticity of the skin, but go back to the doctor if it persists.

It sounds like some of the tissues under the skin haven't healed up. It seems like what's happening with the blisters is that the viens in your hand are still healing. When they get bumped they're breaking open and causing internal bleeding. With the cuts I don't think your skin has fully healed as well and is breaking open where it hasn't fully healed yet.

I dont think its blood blisters if its only happening on the injured hand when you hit it. It may be something else, I would need a better description of the "blister"

Neosporin first as a regularly occurring help for the shrink so it does not get contaminated. Then stick to alcohol after approximately 0.5 an hour on it and cover it up with a band help. it is going to easily heal with the help of June 4th, that is a few week away.
