Hi all,

I am currently dating a man much younger than I am. He does not think that the age difference is an issue and he is more mature than the men I dated that were my age. He is really good with my kids and they all like him a lot. Is there any chance of a relationship lasting between an older woman and a younger man?
Please help...

there is a chance... but very little.. men are fickle as it is, they stray at will!!

and when they're younger, it's so easy for them to wake up one day and think "i don't want this responsibility" especially when it isn't their's to begin with!!

Yes. It all depends on the maturity level of the parties involve.

As long as both individuals want the same goals out of life and the relationship and are compatible and communicative, I don't see the problem.

So again, it all will boil down to the maturity level of both parties.

I agree with you about dating people your age who need to grow up and mature and I have seen some young adults with more maturity then men much older than me and me age.

Follow your heart and don't be concern about what others think and if he fulfills your needs and is good to you, I say good luck and enjoy your relationship.

hi there..to begin with..even my guy is much younger to me..but v r very happy wth each other...but sumtimes v do hv small arguements..the only porblem wth younger guys is tht they tend to be very possesive abt us..and abt maturity they are as equally matured as the older guys..age does't matter at all...and u said he is gud to ur kids..just ask ur kids whether they like spending time wth him..u'll get the answer for ur question then and there..

If you both make a commitment to make it work, I think it can. Any type of relationship can work if the people involved are committed to making it work.
But, the minute one or the other doubts or changes his/her mind that's when you might have some big problems. You can't make someone stay if they aren't truly committed.

All things are possible - look at Demi and Ashton. Focus more on the each other and less on the age. He is of legal age - right? wink, wink

My wife is 11 years older than I, and we love each other very much.

If you truly love each other, I see no reason why it can't work.

But please, please tell me that your younger man *isn't* a teenage student. (A principal at one of our local jr/sr high schools was arrested last week for criminal sexual assault on a 16-year old student at his school.) That is just plain stupidity.
