I did 3 BTs on 8/16/06. How long will it be before the other cc companies get it? How do they do it by electronic or by mail? I did them over the phone when I got approved for a card?
1 more question...... One of my BT was sent to a wrong address, for instance it was sent to a inquiries address instead of the payment address, will it come back?

Normally the balance transfer will happen almost immediately with the cc company making the payment but I've seen the other cc company take up to a week or more to receive and post that payment. Sometimes it's electronic but many times it is by mail.
To your second question, usually your cc department will direct the payment to the proper department since they are all under the same umbrella but you may want to call them to see if they have received it and what would be your next steps.

Depending on each company's policies and procedures, it could transfer within a day or two or it could transfer after a week or more. It's hard to generalize, so your best bet would be to just give them a call and ask them.
As for the wrong address, they might forward it to the correct area, and if not I'm sure it will be returned.

Usually a good two weeks B4 it will show up at the other end..Hang in there..
