easy way to remember

4 cups to quart
4 quarts to gallon

8 oz. per cup.

4 X 8 = 32 X 4 = one hundred twenty-eight !

1 cup = 8 fl. oz. (go check your measuring cup)
2 cups = 1 pint
2 pints = 1 quart = 4 cups
4 quarts = 1 gallon = 16 cups

16 cups x 8 fl. oz. = 128 fl. oz.
