Are there any online stores that sell gluten free food in bulk? Supermarket ranges are somewhat expensive and the choices are quite limited, but I've heard that there is a lot more out there if you know where to look.

Also, are there any websites that have good gluten free bread/pastry recepies?

If you have been diagnosed with coeliac disease (as I was a year ago) you should join the Coeliac Society. They will provide you with all the information you need. http://www.coeliac.co.uk/

Also you will be able to get food on prescription. Your doctor should be able to prescribe you a whole box of loaves that you only pay one prescription charge for, so is cheaper than the supermarket stuff. Unfortunately most of it is fairly tasteless.

To buy on-line you can try:

I found the Antoinette Savill 'bread' to be just about the best around (though it tastes more like crumpets). Waitrose often sell it (and it's cheaper than the above site)

Hope this helps and good luck!
