Read the following extract from cannabis .com!
If you use marijuana
on rare occasions, your urine may be clean of metabolites in less than a
week. There is a common and strange phenomena that occurs with chronic
users. You would expect a chronic user to have the longest detection time
and the smallest chance of passing. This is not always the case. A
chronic user with a high tolerance will eliminate drugs quicker than an
occasional user. Chronic users have tested negative after a week long
binge. Lipid tissue also makes a huge difference. Skinny users not only
have a faster metabolism (usually), but also lack storage for THC
metabolites. Fat will cause a lag in excretion pattern, and lead to a
longer detection time.
As you can see ther is no hard and fast answer. Best just to leave testing as long as possible.

Traces of cannabis will usually stay in a person's system for about a week. If you use it a lot, or have a lot in one session, it stays in the system longer. It's fat soluble, meaning that it lodges itself in the fat cells of the body, in the brain, the liver, and the kidneys. Consequently, a heavy cannabis smoker will find that it can be detected sometimes a month after use.

28 days is the correct time limit for cannabis to be detected in the bloodstream. If a hair test is done the myth is that its there and traceable till you have your hair cut,its un proven.A hair test can show signs of cannabis for up to 3mths,although if this test is done they cannot prove the person has actually smoked dope, only that they have been in the vercinity of dope smoking within that period of time, regular hair washing helps with a medicated shampoo as this masks the substance..I personally smoke and have done daily for years,we suffer the in dignaty of dope tests at work,i must be lucky i aways seem to come back negative........

My 20yr old son told me that it stays in your system for about a month. He knows this because of his friends not passing drug tests they needed....to get into a construction company. I was extremely happy to know that my son had passed the test and that he was telling me the truth when he said he did not do any drugs... to bad for his friends tho. The following month, one of his friends that failed the first time, passed because he stayed clean.
So it was about a month. Good luck.

In your blood, providing you are eating and drinking normally, at the most, 72 hours.
20 to 30 days in your urine
indefinitely in your hair (until you cut it short)

28 days. and its in your hair sample for over six months. however, just because u test positive, doesnt automatically mean youre guilty... if you go to a party and someone else is spliffing, you do the secondary smoke thing.. and youre not guilty.

Not long enough for me, mate.
Whatever the detectable trace levels period in your blood is, its nothing compared to your hair.
THC will always be detectable in hairs on your head. They do hair tests apparently. The cunning blighters.
