It is the most precious thing you own. Once you spend it, you can't get it back. If you waste it, you will be poor, but if you are wise, you will invest it in others, work, and so on, and you will be wise in spirit

Time is gold because time is everything important. Time could mean that you lived a long life. Time could mean the difference between letting the people around you know that you love them and care about them, and there isn't nothing in this world that you wouldn't do for them. Time is precious, it is more beautiful than anything in this world. Time could mean getting saved before that fatal car wreck, knowing right before you see that car swerve into your lane, you wished that you only had more time. Time to breathe, time to do whatever you wanted to do in this world. Time to love, time to have kids, or just time to sit around and do nothing. I know that I hate nothing more than wasting time. I knew that there was something better that I could do than waste time, because right now, time to me means that I have 12 hours until my husband gets home from work, but then ask a cancer patient about time, and you know what that answer would be. Time to see your loved ones, think about the world trade center, think about the time they wished they had before it ran out. I could sit and ponder all day about time, because you don't know how much of it you have, the hour glass could be half full, or half empty. You could be on the other end of time, where you know that you have spent the first 50 knowing what you want and doing it in an ample amount of time, and then the other 50 years wondering what time you will go....so, time is gold because it has a shelf life, because it is unpredictable.

Gold has always been held as a valuable item to possess, as is time. We as frail humans think we have all the time in the world but just as our time is limited so is gold. We can take neither with us upon our death. Time means nothing and gold can not buy more of it!

Time is gold because it is something very precious, nowadays even more then in the past. And by spending your time you can get many things, as if you were spending the gold. (For example you can clean your car yourself spending your time or take it to a car wash, thus spending less time but also some money.)

both are precious. It's very difficult for some people to find any extra time in their day, just as it is very difficult to find gold any more.

You lose your gold, you can get it back, but that will cost you time.
You lose your time, you can't get it back, no matter how much gold you have.

Time is one of the most precious things you own.
