I dont. As usual the haters reveal more about themselves than those they hate.
And please dont tell me about the Bible. It also says Thou Shalt Not Kill and all the right-wingers are pro war and killing so ...
in short: gays are used for political purposes

People hate what they dont understand. The bible does down homosexuality. BUt Jesus didnt! Never mentioned, he mentioned a whole lot on this earth but never Homosexulaty! Things that make you go hmmmmmmm huh?! People need some minority group to blame history has proven that and what has ever Oppressor used...The Bible! From excluding women and Blacks from their rights it was al the bible being used to justify thier disdain or hate. People will grow oneday and hoefully understand Noone chooses to be gay no more than anyone chooses to be straight. YOu just like who you like and love who you love!

Buddy ,
You can not get worked up by the Santa and Easter Bunny believers. They can't think outside the box. They are recovered addicts or alcoholics who have to gravitate to something that does not require much thought, in this case no thought. You want them to understand that it is nature and you are born gay? Come on these guys are driving the empty bus. You know a few of these guys and women are gay, they are totally repressing it. Do not get frustrated when they can not give you complete answers. It is not in them.

If you are a Bible believer, you know the reason that GOD condemns homosexuality, Christians do not condemn homosexuals, we just follow God's word.
There are many reasons besides religion that says homosexuality is bad too.
Health Problems associated with gay sex.
The fact that YOU and I will be paying for treatments for these illnesses
The ability to collect S.S. and other death benefits will tax already burdened programs that are ready to go bankrupt.
Many other reasons to many to mention here

Damn, that dude pules a long toke for a buzzkill, and yes, I meant pules. It's a word play, oh never mind.
Anyway, it's the passion of Mel Gibson that bugs me, uh, oh never mind again. I lost my train reading all that mewling blather above.
I'm hetero and I have no problem with it, even less now after reading Zoek's post. Hadn't looked at it that way...

I am one who does not hate homosexuals.
When I was little I was taught they were weird and to stay away from them. As an adult I came to realize they are simply fellow humans, and to hate them would just be wrong.
A basic human need is to love and be loved, no matter how you obtain it.
I say leave people to their own choices, and I agree with you, as long as they are not doing any harm to me or my family I respect them for that.
To each is own....

People will hate what they first fear. Fear is the opposite of Love and hatred is a product of fear. Homosexuality is feared to be found within them, their children and grandchildren, and in others they Love; then it is hated as something uncontrolable, uncontainable and incurable. Propogating the fear of homosexuality is the fear of God and eternal damnation. Most of the translated Bible is mistranslated according to the sincere beliefs of the translators. Most of the translators have followed an agenda comparable to the preachings of their respective pastors, who, themselves, have misinterpretted most of the Bible.
Fearing God brings forth fear of humans' differences when those differences are misinterpretted as condemned in Bible mistranslations.

Why should we be forced to accept something that is unnatural to us? Why should we be forced to teach our children that something we believe is wrong is "O.K."?
What goes on in the privacy of someone's bedroom is their own business...whether one is homo or hetero sexual. We all know sexual perversions exist...everyone seems to have their own little "fetish". Some guys have a thing for feet, some like to have watermelons thrown at them...as long as you are happy doing what you do, it's none of anyone else's business...and that's the way it ought to be, right?
Why force your private perversions on the rest of the world?
