A nut is fixed to a given mass. A screw is in the nut. What is the formula to calculate the torque required to lift the mass (the screw is attached to a frame, and the mass cannot turn on its axis)?

The general equation for torque is given as:

Torque = r F sin theta

Where:

r = the vector from the axis of rotation to the point on which the force is acting.
F = force vector
theta = angle between r and F

depends if the nut is rusty,if it is stainless,etc..
for all will not be the same some will constricted so tight it will require ,more energy to break it loose
