I Love Love Love my food saver. I buy bulk meats like chicken and hamburger. I break the meat down into smaller servings. Any time I have leftovers or make a huge batch of somethign I divide out into 1 serving packages. All you have to do is take it out and boil for about 15 minutes. When I go camping I "food save" packs of matches and other items that I know I may need to use but don't want to risk getting wet. I have the wine stopper and use that all the time on leftover wine.

It's a great household tool. You will enjoy it! Just don't food save bread ;-)

You can seal leftovers for the freezer. You can buy meats in bulk like porkchops and re-portion them...lots of stuff. The foodsaver is awesome!
