There are several methods for removing Veruccas.
Try the simple ones first.

Buy a banana, eat the fruit, put the inside of the skin against the verucca and tape it into place. The enzimes in the banana skin eat the verucca away, after about two weeks. This is very good to use for children.

Most of us Chiropodists don't use a branded product to remove the verucca.

Professional method. You will need a cream, get your chemist to prepare it for you, 60 per cent Salacilic acid in lanolin cream.
You also need a small bottle of Friars Balsam, corn pads and some tape.

Paint Friars Balsam around the verucca, not the verucca itself, place the sticky side of a thin corn pad, with the hole over the verucca onto the painted area. Fill the hole in the corn pad with the Salcilic acid cream and cover with tape. After 5 days the verucca should be gone. If not repeat the treatment.
Keep the area dry, if not the acid will run and cause some skinning. Should you get your foot wet, remove the dressing and start again.
Try not to run or go dancing as this can cause the dressing to move, walking is alright.

Note that although the acid will eat away at the verucca it will not affect the flesh. Most branded products do not contain enough acid to do much good.

Freezing is a poor option as there is no way of controlling the depth to wich the freezing goes and it is possible to damage underlying tissue.

There are some places in Nebraska and Montana where duct tape is such an essential part of life that it is kept in every room of the house, and in every car on the street. Without duct tape, some societies are totally lost. Why in the world would anyone invest in conventional tools, like pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, nuts and bolts, when a home or car repair of any kind is just a pull and a rip away. Coincidentally, it can also be used for mending or attaching air conditioning ducts.

A nurse at the doctor's surgery recently told my friend's son to cover a wart on his hand with electrical tape, which I think is something similar to duct tape, so I think it is a genuine remedy. He was told to change the tape every couple of days and to persevere until the wart disappeared. Warts and verrucas can take weeks to go. I tried Bazuka for a corn I had on my toe; it was useless. Good luck with it, I had a couple of verrucas when I was a child, they were soooo painful.

Banana Skins have something in them that cures veruccas. Use surgical tape and a small wad to keep it in place. Leave for several days (you can change the dressing and banana skins each time you shower, and it will still work)

The idea is to stop air reaching them. Try silicone, it also reduces scars. apply every day and night, houshold silicone will work.
