The most painless way is to lock yourself in a small room, make sure no air can escape (put clothes under the door etc) light some of those portable disposable BBQs. You will suffocate due to the carbon monoxide - simiar to exhaust pipe in a car

I hope you are asking for purely academic reasons. There is not a best way to take your own life painlessly and lots of methods fail and leave you with a really horrible remainder and quality of life. Quick is also not a guarantee. Remember that taking your own life is a permanent decision to a temporary problem. The pain it leaves lasts for generations. Do not even consider the possibility and the reality of making a decision for anything other than a fabulous future.

Hi all the guy is obviously serious I get depressed very often & wish I could end it but what stops me is will it work or will I just wake up with damage , if I do it I want it to work , hence the mans question, You are lucky that your life is fine , mines not ? No-one really cares or understands the feelings that run through a person with this depression , all you want is for these feelings to go your problems to be solved , but as soon as you talk about them people clam up THEY JUST DON'T GIVE A DAMN

about a 5 mile drop. Once you commit, there is no going back.
Either way, suicide is so out of style. The only thing you do is make a mess and incure more bills. Well, there is the people you leave behind to deal with all of that too.

There is no quick or painless way to commit suicide. If you are asking this question I don't believe you really want to die... I think you are just in soooo much pain that that is looking like your best option.
Please talk to someone... not someone who will judge you or condemn u and get to the cause of your pain. If you can find no one like that... I suggest you pray
When no one is around pour your heart out to God... He is the one who can heal you and understand you because He knows you more than you know yourself. If u don't know how to pray just say: "God help me, I can't do this anymore" You will feel peace ask Him to direct you to someone who can help you & He will.
Please try & stay positive... no matter how bad you feel there are at least 100 people who would love to have your life instead of the one they are in!!! Think of all those who have it sooooo much worse than u.
Not making light of your 'situation' but consider someone who is livin in fear of their life everyday...or the terminally ill cancer patient who is coughing up blood every day hoping to see one last christmas with their young children.... think of the woman in Iraq that is waiting to be brutally stoned to death for being 'sexually immoral' when she was raped...
I'll be praying for you, count your blessings, try and think of all the things you have to be grateful for that we take for granted... stay blessed & be encouraged. You are not the only one who has felt this way and you will not be the last but you can make a difference

Pain? If it didn't kill you, it would be painful, living with agony, but since you're dying anyway, nothing beats a good high fall onto concrete. At least fifty feet, and if it's onto a road in front of a truck - and don't be killing any innocent people in cars - then it's all good. Similarly, walk onto a railway line in front of an express, but not at rush-hour time, it's very inconvenient for those of us still getting on with our lives.
In this ancient universe, death is coming soon enough. What's your particular hurry?

I wouldn't ask here ... how would you know you're not really going to suffer by what an 11 year tells you here for crying out loud?
They might tell you to drink Drano ... That s h i t is really going to hurt. The truth is ... you are sincere about killing yourself ... you need to talk to people who know something about it. Many of the folks who man the phones at the suicide prevention lines where you live have tried it or know people that have ... They know what you should take to get the job done ... with out suffering. Call them. Sure they might try to talk you out of it at first ... but it's just a community service job to them ... they'll tell you what to take.
